I really can’t wait.  I heart Seattle big time.

I have so many new hand painted pendants right now and I don’t have time to properly photograph them all for my shop!  Here’s a sampling….

If you see something that catches your eye, give me a shout!  (Most are in the $75-100 range. )

Each one is hand drawn & painted in acrylic, ink and pencil on wood, and then layered in resin.  They are about 1″x1″ on average.

Oops!  I haven’t posted here in way too long!

It’s been an amazing summer!  Fernworks has been on the move and you may have seen us popping up in Austin, San Francisco, LA, Asheville, Atlanta, Chicago, or Washington DC.   Thanks to all who came out to support me & other great crafters and artists!

Happy March!  I’ve been tinkering away this month on some new ideas / jewelry projects in the studio.

These new creations incorporate tiny, hand-painted scenes cast in layers of resin with real feathers, bones, fur, antler tips, bits of wood, etc.

I am pleased with them so far….

Many of these new pieces are super 3-D and involve thickly poured layers of resin (1″ +), which is always difficult to convey in photographs, but this gives you a good idea…

Just got back from my 1st Crafty Bastards show in DC this Saturday!  My little Fernworks booth was packed solid with a line for 7 hours!!  I couldn’t even get out for a pp break!  Fights were breaking out.  It was awesome.

Thank you so much DC for showing up in droves and supporting all us crafters.

I hope to be back next year!!

Well, we’re finally home from our 17 day whirlwind trek up the west coast-  LA to Seattle! (with a 14 month old in tow)
